Following the outbreak of war, those members of the NSKK who served in support of the Armed Forces (Wehrmacht) were provided standard combat helmets in the form of M1935, M1940, and M1942 models.  Since the NSKK organization was not part of the Wehrmacht, combat helmets were drawn from both Luftwaffe and German Army (Heer) supply sources.  As a result, most combat helmets worn by members of the NSKK carried standard Luftwaffe or German Army insignia.  This included double decal, single decal, and no decal configurations depending on the date of issue and the regulations that were used at the time.  Wartime photographs indicate that the NSKK was issued more helmets from Luftwaffe supply centers compared to those coming from the Army.$950.00
